80th Independence Day Celebration
The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at New Stewart School, Cuttack on 15th August 2026. The programme began with the National song followed by the hoisting of the National Flag, by our chief guest Dr Lagnajeet Dash followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Students and teachers came together to commemorate the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to celebrate the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride. The students presented patriotic songs,mono acts ,poems dances and speeches that reflected the rich heritage and diversity of our nation.
Teachers were felicitated for their commendable work like wall painting. One of our Senior teacher, Mrs Sasmita Sahu was felicitated for her 100% attendance too.
Prizes were given to the students for their achievements in various competitions held like Hand writing , Drawing and Essay by the chief guest , secretary sir and Principal sir.
The celebration concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the values of freedom, peace, unity and responsible citizenship. The programme left everyone with a deep sense of pride in being an Indian.
