Learning beyond the classroom
Venue: Pashupati Agrovet, Jagatpur
Students: Class 10 & 11
An educational trip to Pashupati Agrovet, Jagatpur was organized for the students of Class 10 and 11 on 7 th August.
Pashupati Agrovet is a leading industry where animal and bird fodder is produced. The main objective of the trip was to give students practical knowledge about the agro and feed industry and how science is used in daily life.
The students were warmly welcomed by the industry officials. They were taken around the plant and shown the entire process — from raw material selection, grinding, mixing, pellet making, to quality testing and packaging. Students learnt how different nutrients are added to make balanced fodder for cows, goats, poultry and other birds.
The trip was very informative and interactive. Students asked many questions and cleared their doubts about animal nutrition, machinery, and hygiene standards.
The visit gave them real-life exposure to how industries work and inspired many students to think about careers in agriculture and food technology.
