The Bharat Scout Troop and Guide Company of New Stewart School, Cuttack organised a Drinking Water Shed to help the public during the scorching summer heat.
With temperatures soaring, the enthusiastic scouts and guides set up the shed at a busy locality of Cuttack. They served cool, Curd water to pedestrians, rickshaw pullers, and daily commuters who were struggling in the heat.
All the Guides and Scouts participated wholeheartedly and felt happy to serve. Their small act of kindness brought great relief to local people and reflected the Scout motto “Be Prepared” and “Service to Others.”
The initiative was appreciated by the public and encouraged students to understand the joy of community service.
