Observation of Utkal Divas at New Stewart School

New Stewart School celebrated Utkal Divas on 1 st April with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme beautifully showcased the rich culture and glorious history of Odisha.

The celebration began with a prayer by our Principal sir Rev Mojesh Mohanty. Students were dressed as great freedom fighters, paying tribute to the brave leaders. A song was presented by Ayesha Malickof std 5.
Speeches were given by Ranveer Prakash Sahoo and Krutika Priyadarshini .A brief history of Odisha was also narrated by our teacher Mr Amulya Kumar Behera.
A graceful and vibrant dance performance was presented by the girls of Classes IX and X.

Adding more excitement to the programme, a wonderful skating performance was also presented by the students, which was admired by everyone.A rally was organised by scout and guide students of New Stewart school on this occasion also.

The event was smoothly and confidently hosted by Sneha Mishra and Akshita Das, who conducted the programme beautifully. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Anshka Sahoo, expressing gratitude to the Principal, teachers, students, and all those who made the event successful.

The observation of Utkal Divas was truly a memorable and meaningful celebration for all.

 

77th REPUBLIC DAY

The Republic Day celebration at our school began with a word of prayer by our Principal Sir, Rev. Mojesh Mohanty, followed by the felicitation of the Principal Sir and the coordinators. The National Flag was unfurled, and everyone sang the National Anthem with great pride and respect.
The Principal Sir’s speech reminded the students of their duties and responsibilities as responsible citizens of India. The teachers and students presented a melodious patriotic song, and students delivered speeches in English, Odia, and Hindi, highlighting the significance of the day.
A graceful solo dance and an energetic skating performance added colour and excitement to the celebration. Students were also honoured during the prize distribution ceremony for their achievements in academics and cultural activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone filled with a sense of pride, unity, and patriotism
