Workshop on Awareness on road safety
A workshop was conducted on creating Awareness on road safety by N Ramakrishna Raju, Network Manager ,Maruti Suzuki Driving school.He spoke on reskless driving, distracted driving and the consequences of distracted driving which proves to be fatal. He spoke on the use of preventive measures like use of seat belt etc and the responsibility of a good Samaritan by understanding the road signs..like mandatory and warning signs.
A google form was shared to test the understanding of the teachers.
The program was hoisted by Mrs Ureka Bihari.

Workshop on POSCO Act
A workshop was conducted in the school premises by our resourse persons Adv Siddharth kumar Das and Adv Barsha Rani Sahoo to sensitise teachers on the mandatory reporting, false reporting, NCPCR and SCPCR.
The preventive measures we need to under take while dealing with cases related to POCSO issues in various places in the society.
It session was quite informative and created awareness among the teacher fraternit

Workshop on Spoken English
New Stewart School under the guidance of the esteemed resource person, Rev. F. C. North conducted a workshop on spoken English.
The programme began with a prayer led by our respected Principal Sir, followed by the felicitation of the guest speaker.
He shared his valuable insights and experiences,on the four important skill to be used in teaching English.
He made the session highly enriching and inspiring for all the teachers.
The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Miss Siril Simon expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the programme.

Workshop on Tata edge classes.
A workshop was conducted for teachers by resource person, Mr. Tanmoy Banerjee, Academic Manager at Tata ClassEdge,on various usage of tools and technique of the updated version of Tata edge.
It was an insightful and engaging session. His guidance, through this refresher training, will help teachers to gain new perspectives and enhance their eaching practices.
The teachers actively participated with a lot of enthusiasm, which made this session lively and meaningful.
Workshop on First-Aid: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Organised by: Bharat Scout Troop & Guide Company, New Stewart School, Cuttack
The workshop aimed to equip students with life-saving skills and promote the Scout & Guide motto “Be Prepared.”
Resource Person
The session was conducted by Dr. Bipin Bihari Kar, who explained the fundamentals of BLS through live demonstrations. Key areas covered were:
1. Assessment of emergency situations – DRSABCD action plan.
2. CPR technique for adults and children with correct hand position, depth, and rate.
3. Choking management, recovery position, and use of first-aid kit.
4. Handling common school emergencies like fainting, nose bleeding, burns, and fractures using triangular bandages.
All Scouts and Guides of the school actively participated in both theory and practical sessions. The teaching staff also attended the workshop to ensure the knowledge reaches every classroom. Students practiced CPR on demo mannequins.
Outcome
1. Students gained confidence to respond calmly during medical emergencies.
2. The workshop strengthened practical skills required for Pratham Sopan, Dwitiya Sopan and Rajya Puraskar testing camps.
3. It reinforced the spirit of service and responsibility among young scouts and guides.
